PILOTS – HAVE YOU HEARD
ABOUT
THE COMPANY'S PROPOSALS AND ITEMS ALREADY AGREED TO BY THE JNC? TIRED OF
WORKING UNDER A CONTRACT SOMEONE ELSE THINKS WAS OK?
THEN
NOW IS THE TIME
TO MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD |
LET US AIRWAYS & YOUR
REPS KNOW ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. TAKE
CONTROL OF YOUR FUTURE & ADD YOUR NAME TO THIS PETITION!
"Please
ask yourself how has Southwest achieved the longest period of consecutive
profitability of any pax airline in the world while paying their pilots the
highest narrow body rates of any pax airline?"
Good question!!
Your response Doug....?
|
US Airways management
feels our customers want us to be "honest, fair and treat them with
respect."
We absolutely agree - that's all we're asking here. |
Concerned about US Airways CEO
Doug Parker's
finances and/or the financial state of the airline?

“We the undersigned
pilots hereby affirm that we will not vote in favor of ratification of any
new contract which does not contain, AT A MINIMUM, the provisions listed
below, and which does not cover ALL US Airways pilots. Further, we hereby
direct that the MEC shall not ratify nor put out for vote any Company offer
which does not contain, AT A MINIMUM, the provisions listed below, and which
does not cover ALL US Airways pilots”
NO
extended duty times for A340/B767-300, two full crews plus dedicated
rest areas
NO
concessionary pay rates for A340/B767-300
(negotiate like this is important to you Doug - we could care
less about China!
The pay rates offered are less than we will accept for narrowbody flying.
Thanks for taking the time to understand our perspective.)

Period.

Nothing here is the least
bit unreasonable, unreasonably expensive, nor will it put US Airways at a
competitive disadvantage as we are the bottom of the barrel. If US
Airways is indeed the "World's Largest Low Cost Carrier' and yet is unable to provide
the above competitive work rules and compensation, then the reason is
corporate inefficiency coupled with faulty business models, not employee compensation.
Competitive or not, we will not get
a quality contract if we don't demand it. Every pilot here –
whether former America West or
US Airways, has given something to ensure the existence of this
company. Every employee of
US Airways, from the
CEO down, has a job because
of the sacrifices of the pilots.
We have paid long enough for corporate inefficiency,
executive compensation and inattention to the operation.
THE TIME IS NOW !!
